This study aims to elucidate the role of knowledge regarding Ahura Mazda in fostering a profound and meaningful relationship between humanity and the Divine in Zoroastrianism. Employing a qualitative methodology grounded in content analysis, the Gathic texts were analyzed through a textual and analytical approach centered on the "epistemological relationship between Ahura Mazda and human." The findings demonstrate that comprehending the attributes and divine emanations of Ahura Mazda—attained through sacred texts, wisdom, insight, and self-knowledge—plays a foundational role in cultivating cognition, wisdom, and human commitment to aiding Ahura Mazda. Furthermore, this knowledge drives individuals toward purposeful reflection on creation and actions derived therefrom. The results also indicate that within Zoroastrianism, knowledge of Ahura Mazda, emphasizing His attributes of oneness and creatorship, effectively neutralizes the influence of Ahriman in the cosmos. In the light of this understanding, humans discern the purposeful nature of existence and pledge themselves to observing Ahura Mazda’s commandments and practicing conscious moral agency.
